Halo-h Kitchen is hands down the best Filipino restaurant in Arizona. We have tried most of the Pinoy restaurants in the valley (there’s not a lot of them), and Halo-Halo Kitchen is our go-to spot.
It’s a –/point-point style restaurant, similar to ordering in a cafeteria. Their menu varies but they usually have the Filipino staples like Chicken Adobo or Chicken Afritada. They have all-day breakfast options (meat of choice + fried rice + egg).
Our would be the Sizzling Sisig. It’s a mix of pork meat (liver, belly) sauteed with garlic, onions, and calamansi (a citrus fruit commonly found in the Philippines).
If you have brought some friends who aren’t exactly adventurous in trying new isine, no worries! They also sell burgers and fries.
For dessert, they have (banana spring rolls), leche flan, and halo-halo (Filipino version of shaved ice), as well as some chips and snacks you can pick up right next to the counter.
If you’re looking for a legit Filipino restaurant in the valley to satisfy your cravings: Halo-Halo Kitchen is the place to go!
Best time to go: before lunch. Food is fresh and it’s less busy.
