Guide To Biking Central Park in New York

Biking Central Park

Biking Central Park in New York City has long been a dream of mine. Ever since I visited the place I’ve always thought to myself how cool it would be to be able to bike around the park.

So of course, on our next trip to New York, we made sure to check it off our list. Here’s what we did:

First, we rented a bike.

We rented our bikes from Central Park Sightseeing.

Second, look where you go and stay in your lane.

Millions of people visit the Central Park every year. Make sure to pay attention to avoid accidents.

Third, stop every now and then and take in the views.

There are lots of places to sit and just hang out in the park. Go people-watching. Look for entertainers – they’re all over the place and you can usually spot them when you see a huge crowd gathering in one spot.

Fourth, bring water.

Always be prepared. The park has some steep sections that will make you catch your breath!

It took us 2 hours to go around the whole thing.

Overall, it was a fun activity! It’s a great way to explore the city if you have a couple hours to spare.
