If you have one full day in Bangkok, what would you do?
Here are some of the stuff we did and places we checked out:
Wat Pho
It’s one of the oldest and biggest Buddhist temples in Bangkok.
The Grand Palace
This place was home to Thailand’s Royal Monarchs for over 150 years. It’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country so I suggest going early to avoid the crowds.
Chao Praya Express
It’s an express boat, a hop-on hop-off boat ride, you can use to get around Bangkok and its main tourist attractions. They have sightseeing tours as well. It will give you a different perspective of the city.
Street Food
Street food is everywhere in Thailand and there are so many things to try if you’re curious. We had Thai iced coffee, Thai basil pork with egg, grilled squid, dragonfruit juice, etc.
Night Markets
There are several night markets in the city and they are usually open from late afternoon to midnight or later. They’re a great place to go shopping and grab a bite to eat – lots of options!
For dinner, we ate at one of the restaurants along Charoenkrung Road.
