The first time I heard about 2x Spicy Samyang was when a friend posted a video of her eating a bowl of noodles covered with red sauce. If you look across Youtube, you will find similar videos on 2x Spicy Samyang Noodles Challenge. Apparently, suffering on video for all the world to see is a thing. Everyone was trying it – even the kids!

A Korean food manufacturer called Samyang Food makes the stuff. The made the first ever Korean Ramen in 1961! Samyang is also a town in South Korea.
2. It has 8,000 Scoville heat units!
Meaning, it’s spicy AF.
3. You’re supposed to pour off the broth when making it!
Make sure to follow the instructions! We thought it’s prepared the same way like the Hot Samyang Beef that we had so we prepared it like it’s an instant ramen soup. I don’t think it affected the heat at all. It was very spicy!
